usb mice don't last long it may say 5-10 years or more but they don't and you may have to plug it in a diff. usb port if you have one

This happens to my periodically. I unplug the USB receptor and plug it back in to reset it.

i have the same problem but i run on a mac

One of the sites indicates this takes a 12 VDC 1.66 amp supply and would have to be the correct polarity of course... Read the nameplate on the unit to find what the requirements are. Polarity is critical and damage could be done if wrong one is used.
