The Powerful Blue LEDs, these are a cause of damage to the back of the eye, and a cause of me not buying a lot of electronic products.

Fiona it's a common problem that usually happens with aging. The jelly starts dissipating at a certain point and small symbols start appearing when any light is going thru the affected eye. I'm told there's a surgical procedure that can be done where they remove the jelly and replace it with saltwater, but there's a danger of detaching the retina during this surgery. I live with it, and other than the fact that it's distracting, it doesn't affect me. If you ever start seeing a "black curtain", or any part of one, obviously intervention has to taie place....

My 1995 non-turbo Eclipse is stalling out intermittently. Luckily it starts again (so far). The shop guys couldn't replicate the problem. What might cause that?

Is there any pattern to how long it runs after restart?

Possible cause: broken electric contacts on a circuit board. Circuit boards typically have very low electric currents. A contact or solder joint can break enough to disturb electric flow intermittently but still be invisible to the eye and to tests using more power. Resolder any joints that have a bulls eye like circle inside the solder. Circuit boards can be behind the instrument panel and other places under the dash. If nothing there the engine control module is suspect.

Why do I have floaters in the eye I had cataract surgery in along with flashes of light,

Most eye floaters are caused by age-related changes that occur as the jelly-like substance (vitreous) inside your eyes becomes more liquid. Microscopic fibers within the vitreous tend to clump and can cast tiny shadows on your retina. Most likely just coincidence with your surgery.

The top threat keep on breaking

Possible causes:
  • Needle eye too small for thread used - then thread frays and breaks
  • Cheap thread used that easily frays - esp. when thread has unequal thickness
  • Needle eye too sharp
  • Component of the thread guide is not smoothly guiding the thread or is sharp
  • Upper thread tension (far) too large

BF wagon eye level brake light is not working have tested globe and globe is working. Also reverse lights not working

If the other brake lights work, probably broken wire. Eye level meaning Suv hatch? If so, the wires tend to break at the rubber boot from the hatch to the body. The reverse lights run threw the neutral safety switch on the transmission. Could be a broken wire, most times it is the switch.

The tension knob will not turn below four. The thread keeps breaking.

check that the thread is between the plates and not behind them
thread breaking can be from wrong size needle eye, poor quality thread , old thread and needle/ eye timing

What do I do about the discomfort in my eye? I can barely keep them open at times. I experience twitching at other times. I tried using the eye drops that was prescribed to me the last time this happened....

The constant use of computers are the cause of eye problems for many a person these days. I had twitching troubles a while back. It has to do with the manner in which we use it. It is not recommended to stare at the monitor constantly without any break. Take short breaks in between long sessions of staring at the monitor. Rest your eyes frequently. Get adequate sleep. All these are basic tips that any optometrist would tell you. Don't try to self medicate. If it is a problem that is recurring, then best consult with an eye clinic before it gets worse.

Can reading in dim light damage your eyes?

Reading in darkly lit rooms won't cause actual damage to your eyes, but might strain them and make you feel more tired. It's much better to read in better lighting and to take regular breaks.

Where can I view at all the existing sunglasses brands?

When your eyes begin to tear or squint due to bright outdoor light, your eyes are creating a natural defense against UV ray, which are harmful and can affect the eyes. Even if you wear sunglasses on every sunny day, you still may not be doing enough to protect your eyes from those dangerous rays. After years of going unprotected, your eyes will eventually break down and disease may be inevitable. In order to prevent diseases from affecting your eyes, you must wear sunglasses that are at least UV400, and keep your eyes shaded as much as possible.
