SOURCE: I have a Optimus STA-3750 am/fm stereo receiver

I have the same receiver, but have been unable to program it with my Universal Code. I do not have the original remote. Did you find a code that controlled it? I found one website that had the owners manual online, maybe that would help: http://support.radioshack.com/support_audio/doc58/58124.htm

Optimus STA-3500, display is so dim you can't read it without a magnifying glass. No "dimmer" adjustment visible unless there is a special code........?

The manual might have the code to adjust the display screen optimus sta-3500 manual on google and on the companies official website too.Or call or email customer service then.

My Optimus STA 3760 Receiver will not play any sound on tape monitor, and will only play the right channel on the phono setting. What could be wrong with it/ how do I fix it?

Chemically clean all of your input selector switches and see what happens. If still have issue then one of your amps is in need of repair.
