Touch pad is not working properly

Touchpad of my laptop lenovo y510 ideapad 44q is not working properly,
problem is with doudle click, i have to click three four times to open any programme

Most likely your touch pad is just damaged. you might have to send it in for repairs so back up all your important info and try to check the warranty and see if your cover. Call the place where you bought it and see what they can do. Best of wishes

First of all check if the hardware is detected. Look in the Device Manager under "Mice or Other Pointing Devices". If it's not detected means there's a problem with your TouchPad.

Normally you won't need drivers for the touchpad. It should be detected as PS/2 Compatible device.

Based on your situation. I suggest trying the following steps:

1. Download the updated touchpad driver.You may visit link below for the driver.

http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_show_148.html#

2. go to download here then click on IN2THP4WW3.exe

3. after downloading install the driver then restart your computer.

I have wireless network but computer shows no network found. All the drivers are ok and updated. laptop model y510 ideapad ----44q


first you have check the configuration in your device and check the Input value if your input value and service provider input value doesn't mach than you have to correct it

for you have used the machine for more than 1 year then your touch pad need to be replaced however if it has happened abruptly then reinstall the touch pad drivers

Laptop's touchpad not working

Please remove the external mouse and press Fn+ESC simultaneously the issue should be resolved.
