It sounds like your flow diverter isn't closing properly. Try removing the flow restrictors from the shower nozzle and see if that helps.

SORRY, ITS SO.... BUT GOOD FOR YOU THIS ISN'T MY FIRST RODEO... TELL YOUR HUSBAND TO ADD THIS TO HIS NEVER ENDING TO-DO LIST: YOU CAN ADD A SHOWER HEAD VALVE WHICH DEPENDING ON YOUR FINISH ONLY COSTS ABOUT 15 DOLLARS AND TAKES 2 MINUTES TO INSTALL. I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE ON MY DANZE VENETIAN BRONZE TUB AND SHOWER FAUCET FOR THE EXACT SAME REASON. YOU SIMPLY REMOVE THE SHOWER HEAD, THEN ADD THE VALVE, THEN ATTACH THE SHOWER HEAD TO THE VALVE. ADJUST FOR THE DESIRED PRESSURE. SORRY HUBBIE

SOURCE: how do you tighten or remove handle on a danze

Not to familar with faucet itself, but on most shower faucet's, there is a screw that holds it on. Most of the time there is a plastic face plate on the front of the handles, you pop that off and the screw is beneath, as you loosen you have to hold the handle in place, otherwise as you loosen the screw it will turn the water on.

Other fauet handles will have a set screw , usually on the bottom side of the handle body,( the part of the handle closest to the shower wall, either a small flat head or allen wrech should be all you need. good luck.

Why does the water not flow from shower valve when turned on?

Do you have water coming out of the tub spout and not the shower head? If so how does the water get directed to the shower head,is it by pulling up the diverter on the tub spout? If water is still coming out of the tub spout then the diverter is bad and the tub spout needs to be replaced.

Installed new Danze shower valve the water is on but will not come out why?

shut off your water and pull the cartridge out off unit...make sure you have no trash in cartridge...turn water on without cartridge in but only part way to see if you have water flow to value...then make sure no damage to cartridge or some of these have plugs that need removed on install of cartridge....you may need to remove test plug that is in there ....try this...good luck

I have a Danze D112000BT Single Control Pressure Balance Mixing Valve with Screwdriver Stops that was installed in 07, it been working fine then last week it all of a sudden became really stiff to turn...

Danze cartridges are known to have problems after time with hard water. If you call Danze at 1-888-328-2383 USA
Canada: 1-800-487-8372
They have a lifetime warranty of defects, and will replace the cartridge for that valve for free. It will actually be best to have a plumber do it because taking the cartridges out can be simple, putting them back in and tightening it up the way it should be can be tricky. It is nice that you have the valve with the screwdriver stops. That allows you to remove the cartridge without having to turn the water off to the entire house. Simple turn each stop to turn the water off, remove cartridge, put new cartridge in.

I have a single handle Danze shower. I can't turn on the water. The handle just turns all the way around.

sounds like handle is not engaged....pull handle...may need allen wrench...after handle is off see if you can turn water on with pliers...should go from right to left...if that works...install handle and tighten with allen wrench....handle should set from off area...see if handle is stripped out or not on proper...if need new handle...pick up at lowes or plumbing supply...good luck

I have Danze, single handle shower faucets that were professionally installed in 2005. One shower faucet has not hot water, just cold and when the handle is turned on all the way to hot, there is an itty...

Replace valve canister- no construction- just remove after taking time to shut off water- a few screws and the job takes 15 minutes. I take for granted you have good water hot/cold to the fixture. This fix will cure most temperature balance problems.
The single lever system is a EZ care system. Note the canister can malfunction faster when exposed to untreated hard water.

There's no set screw or plate covering the set screw. Not sure if handle just snaps on or what Danze Parma faucet

You didn't indicate exatcly what model. Check this link, and follow the install instructions. It tells you how to secure each type (3 different methods) One is a screw in the side with a cover over the screw.

My shower vavle does not close off the water completely to the shower or the tub. Any suggestion of what may be the problem?

If the valve is found on the spout replace it as it may have corruded calsium build up. if it is a valve between the hot and cold water than shut off the water to the house and pull off the valve take to store and replace with a like one. Good luck.
