No sound unless i put it on speaker

I have an lg neon and all of a sudden i cant hear anything coming through the other line. they can hear me but i cant hear them. ive checked the call volume and all that is fine. i can hear them if i put it on speaker phone...anyone have this problem before or know how i can fix it? fido tech support is closed right now

It sounds like you have a faulty earpiece. This should be covered under your warranty and you can get it replaced or repaired free of charge. You can also bring it to a repair centre where it can be repaired for a price but will be quicker usually than warranty work. Or you can try it yourself by getting part and attempting to fit yourself tho this is a last option unless you are very confident about disassembly and reassembly of this mobile.

    it sounds like you need a new earpiece. This can be done by any mobile repair centre fairly easily or if you can get your hands on one online and feel confident on taking it apart and fitting it. Though i would suggetst letting a professional see it or get it replaced under warranty

Switch off your phone and remove battery for 5 seconds and then put it back in. If it doesn't work, your phone's speaker is dead and you need to carry your phone to local LG customer service.

Cant hear incoming voices unless i put it on speaker. Can hear rings and all phone bells and whistles though. just not earpiece volume for incoming calls unless on speaker
this sounds like a broken earpiece speaker you might be able to find a replacement one on-line and replace it or if its still under warranty send it back in and get it replaced

LG VX8700 - No sound coming from speaker
Sounds just like the problem I had. I took the phone apart and removed the internal speaker. Tried the contacts with another speaker from another phone...and it worked.This leads me to believe that the internal speaker has failed. I am now on the hunt to get a replacement speaker.

About phone lg enV
you'll have to bring it to an outlet. that's a broken speaker or earpiece. I brought my phone back today, for a different reason, and the girl in front of me had the same problem and they fixed it.
though, you phone must still be under warranty, 1 year unless extended..
