Nokia 5300 mobile not reading memory card, though it works fine on other mobile and PC

well a tip from my side: 1 -the memory card works fine in the phone so u can connect ur phone to pc and transfer all files from memory card to a pc. 2-then remove memory card from phone and connect it directly to a pc and format it.this will remove everything from the card. 3 -if not working, put the card in any digital camera and format through the camera, this usually works :).

Hi there, I have a micro sd card from Nokia 5300 phone.But when i use the same card in Nokia 3120 Classic, the memory card has been locked but i did not set any password for the memory card...Can this issue be solved in nokia 3120 classic phone.Can the password be unlocked in nokia 3120 classic.........Please advise.....

firstly u have format ur memory card and then try. if it bcome not ok then i is rejected memory card.

your Nokia 5300 takes a MicroSD Memory Card i would use only a 2 g card most phone willnt work good with anything but the 2gig. the memory card gos in the back of your phone. pull the back cover off and you will see where the card goes.

Hello, is it your new memory card? were you using it before? How big it is (1 - 2 Gb ???) If its not new, try that card on a PC or another phone first.

Hi., First get an antivirus update for ur PC u r using, scan ur whole pc first n then connect ur card reader or cell to it then transfer files. Everything will b fine

Master reset your mobile and insert the memory card after formatting it.

you will need to take the phone to a mobile service center....and have them reset the code

the problem might be with the slot of memory card, if the same memory cards are working in another phones than consult with nokia care, they will be able to sort out the issue for u.
