SOURCE: oki 5800 shows 177 fatal error

A 177 is a fuser code. The fuser is the part that gets hot. Try rebooting the printer. Try taking it out and putting it back in (with the machine off). You might need to replace the fuser unit.

How to fix fatal error 177 in oki mc860

177 is a thermistor problem within the fuser. Just replace the fuser to cure the problem. Remember to replace the fuser with the power off.

Error 980 on OKI C5900 fatal error

First, there is no model C5900. There is a model C5800. On the assumption that you are having this issue with a C5800 then the problem is media wrapped around the fuser. After cooling you can try to unravel or unwind the wrapped media but you may need to replace the fuser.

177 Fatal Error

Error 177: Thermistor indicates Low Temperature (COLD) Error.

Usualy the fuser has overheated first (error 172/176) and tripped the thermal protection causing the fuser not to heat up anymore.

Normal procedure if a restart doesn't fix it is to replace the fuser unit.

I just replaced the fuser unit in my Okidata 5200 and it will print for awhile and then stop with a fatal error #177. How do I fix this?

lift your top cover up and check the ribbon cables to the black leds (4) under the cover 2 on each led, these have been known to be loose and cause those fatal error codes

Xante CL30 Fatal Error 177

I think that's a buffer overflow error, but if you get that error no matter what you print I would check to make sure your memory isn't bad.
