As Shaun has said, the replacement decals from Mark at ovenlettering.co.uk seem to be the easiest solution to a common problem. The transfers are easy to apply (there's a "how to do it" intruction video on the website), and also seem fairly robust once on

Lauren, Viking control panels used to have painted lettering and yes it does come off with cleaning and time. It is not a sticker. The new replacement control panels are printed with laser. They are much more clean looking and cant be rubbed off. You'll need to get with your local Viking Certified Servicer and have them order this for you.

Unfortunately appliancepartspros don't stick decals for Viking appliances. Has anyone used the services of ovenlettering.com, which is based in the UK?

Thanks Shaun! My other option is to replace the control panel @ $100 so I will determine which option provides the best result and at what price.
I've used overlettering.co.uk and it works great. Much cheaper than a new control panel.
I had a similar problem with my oven and contacted ovenlettering.co.uk who supplied me with excellent quality replacement decals with super fast delivery too
They are SO expensive. Almost $100.00 USD for decals.
