Setting up google account and when trying to put in my email address it will not let me use the @ syymbol

mam r u loging off or signing off...from the sam page...once ur loged offf it is a small option on the right hand side top of the gmail window ..just clk on it..once ur logged off,,it will give u a new window to sign in again..no in tht winodw put in ur old mail id and pwd ..it will surely work

Try this:
1. Switch off
2. Press Vol-up + Power
3. If display goes on: Release power but hold vol-up
3. Toggle Lock switch (On>Off>On>Off)
Screen will display:
Erasing Userdata..
Erasing Cache..
click forget password instead of giving password & follow the instructions......change ur psswd
