Sonia, you either have a failed drain pump, or something has bypassed the filter ( bobby pins are notorious for this ) and is jamming up the pump impeller. If you can set the washer to drain/spin and can hear the pump running, you most likely have a impeller that has broken off of the pump motor shaft and will need to be replaced. If you cannot hear the pump running, and can hear a slight humming noise, then there is something jammed in the pump. The pump can be removed and cleared of the possible foriegn object. I can provide instructions on pump removal if needed.
You can get to the drain filter without need for disassembling. The filter access is located behind the protective trim at the lower front side of the machine. Remove the trim and rotate the filter cap anticlockwise. Be prepared to collect the water that will flow through the filter. After cleaning the filter perform operations in reverse order to reassemble. Disconnect power before starting. The pump is located at the bottom of the machine, behind the filter. Accessing the pump requires disassembling.
OE - drain error - 5 minute time out drain time error. check your pump/filter for blockages. Clean out the trap from the bottom, something is jamming the drain motor.
The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
If you are getting this code it is because your washing machine has tried for at least ten minutes to drain the water out of the machine. The most likely cause of this problem is that you have a plugged pump filter or you have something stuck in the pump filter.Make sure that you unplug your washing machine. To clean out the pump filter you must empty the washing machine water. The best way to do this is to manually drain the water into a low bucket or basin. Then lay a towel down to catch to remaining small amount of water. Remove the pump filter, clean out any debris, and wash out the filter. Then plug your washer back in and restart the washing machine.Check that your machine is properly leveled. A washer that is too far out of level may not drain properly. Make sure that you are level front to back as well as side to side. This solution will solve your problem Thank You !!

LG themselves have some information on this error code..
1. Clogged drain line or water pump Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).
2. Water Pump If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.
3. Drain Filter Check the drain filter for clogs as well. This filter can become clogged overtime, preventing the free flow to exit the drain tube. It is located inside the unit, mounted on the pump housing.
**The most common issue will be an obstructed hose or, line
NOTE-If the hoses filter, and pump check out ok, this will confirm that there is a serious within the actual control sector(Timer module or control board). It should be replaced i this case.
HI, you will need to check the following below to combat this issue.

I found out. First of all A penny was able to find its way through the filter and into the pump system. I am not amused.
I tipped th unit onto one side.
Took. off the bottom unit drawer
From beneatht eh unit, there is access to the pump.
I undid all clamps ( I think there are 3 clamps) to each hose connecting to the pumps.
Unscrewed the screws to the outside face place of the filter (on the face of the machine)
Undid the wires attached to the pump system and took it out.
Unscrewed each pump from the entire unit that cam out (there are 2 pumps).
Inside one, there was a penny.
saved myself $400 service call :)
LG, you suck!
