This worked for me! Ttry removing all of the batteries or unplugging the power cord..and holding down the "ON" button for about 45 seconds. Then replace the batteries (be sure they are fresh) and try your product again. It is somewhat of a "hidden" Re-Set button.
The most common problem that causes this is the batteries in the remote. Try replacing them with fresh batteries. Make sure that they are in correctly, they will only work in one certain position. Next make sure that nothing is obscuring the Infrared Sensor on the front of the set.
If the remote does absolutely nothing after these checks I would suggest purchasing a universal remote control, follow the instructions that come with it to program it for your particular brand. There may be several different codes for your brand of TV. You might need to try all of them one at a time to find the correct one. When you find the correct one I suggest that you save the little booklet that comes with the universal remote in case you need to program it for a different TV or have to re-program it again. It will give you step by step instructions. There may be a search function on the new remote that will allow you to simplify the programming.
ignition switch had been replaced in 2005.(did not know this at time of question).we were using the old key in the new lock.when using new key problem solved.
Hi just because the battery is new does not mean anything turn on your head light to see if they come on, if not most likely the battery, if you have a volt meter I would check the battery. Now if the light do come on then I would check the fuse for the ignition system, pull the fuse complete out to check if it is blown. These two check I would start with. Please let me know how you make out.
Check Battery is akaline or better and fresh. Try new ones from different packs. Brand new batteries can be bad. For further steps see my post on Zmate MP3.
Mine had with this problem....After checking everything I found some corrosion in the battery compartment so I cleaned the contacts at the bottom of the compartment and put a new set of batteries in...The camera started working again....DON'T leave batteries in if you are not using the camera >>>
