Question about Refrigerators
I have an Electrolux stand alone ice maker that will not stop making ice. I have defrosted and cleaned all the major components, but didn't notice a sensor that would signal when to stop making ice. This is a new problem that has been going on for the last month. The ice ben gets full and causes an ice water fall to form from the cube maker.
Sounds like the ice level switch is either jammed on or is faulty.
Look for a flap of some kind that rests on the ice when it's made. Should be located at the back of the hopper.

Sounds like the water fill solenoid valve is leaking by. You will have to change that solenoid valve if the water continues to drip into the ice maker tray after a normal fill cycle. http://www.partselect.com/AdvancedModelSearch.aspx?ModelNum=JCD2295HES&mfgModelNum=JCD2295HES&fkMfgID=1

SOURCE: Leaking icemaker
You may want to check that your water line isn't cracked.
Ours cracked and now we need to replace our floor. The water line is too close to the compressor which heats the plastic tubing and makes it brittle. Our refrigerator is 9 years old. Model #TPX24BRYFBB

Water dispensing solenoid is bad. You need to replace the solenoid valve. This typically is independent of the ice maker.
