I am having problems treading the bobbin on the Singer 90S anniversary sewing machine. Once I pull the tread off the spoil and pass it across the pre-tension hook and before going to the bobbin winding...

It appears the first two steps are the same as for top thread but rather then taking the thread all the way down towards needle you make a wrap around the bobbin tension disc then to the bobbin. There is no hook at the second step, it's just where there thread exits from behind the large plastic piece.

The bottom (bobbin) thread will not come up when (the top thread will not not pick up the bottom thread. I have re=threaded several times and re-installed the bobbin thread many times also.

There are several things that can cause this, but essentially the hook is not catching the tread loop when the needle goes down. Sometimes the machine has gotten out-of-time, most frequently it's from lint buildup in the bobbin carrier assembly or a bent needle. Try a new needle first and make sure you have it inserted properly in the machine with the eye facing the bobbin. Most consumer machine needles have a flat that only goes in the needle holder one way, but some universal and specialty needles don't have that flat. If the needle isn't the culprit, have it cleaned professionally. Most machine ailments are resolved by a proper cleaning.

Model 7043 Imperial. how do I pick up bobbin tread?

Install a brand new needle--make sure the flat side is facing the correct direction. Remove all the thread. RAISE the presser foot and rethread everything from the beginning. Make sure the bobbin is threaded properly.

Hand rotate the handwheel one full turn and see if it picks up the bobbin thread. If not, make sure you are using the correct needles.

Open the bobbin door and while watching the needle action, watch when the needle comes down, is it looping to catch the bobbin thread? If it's not, then it could be a needle/hook timing problem.

I have a hyundai 8 stitch sewign machine been working brillant but last night it kept missing the tread and the thread breaking or jabbing . today looking at it i see when it jabs the Bobbin Case Inner...

The top thread breaks

1. the needle thread is not threaded properly

2. The needle thread tension is to tight

3. The needle is bent or blunt

4. The needle is incorrectly inserted

5. The needle thread & the bobbin thread are not set under the presser foot when starting to sew

6. the threads were not drawn to the rear after sewing

7. The thread is either to heavy or to fine for the needle

8. Try a different spool or cone of thread

Bobbin thread breaks

1. There is a right way & wrong way to insert the bobbin in the case --when you insert the bobbin in if it doesn't stitch correctly turn the bobbin over see if that helps or bobbin case is not inserted correctly

2. Lint has collected in the bobbin holder

3. The bobbin is damaged & doesn't turn smoothly

4. Lower thread tension is two tight

if the sewing machine has a top loading bobbin, you may have to have the sewing machine checked to see if there is something wrong with the bobbin case or the hook and hook race.
I suggest try a new needle--one for the fabric being sewed
also try another bobbin
rethread the sewing machine top and bobbin, using every thread guide.

Needle wont catch thread from bobbin

check the needle to see if it's in backwards---flat side should go to the back of the machine
make sure the needle is inserted all the way up into the needle holder.
make sure it the right needle for the machine to use.

29k13not picking up thread

Take a look at the manual and make sure you have the bobbin going in the right direction in the bobbin case. Each sewing machine is different. On my Kenmore the bobbin drops in counter clockwise, on my old Universal KAB you have to the bobbin with the tread facing away from you when you slide it in the bobbin case then pull it through the slot and put ut under the tension spring. It is the same for the Brother Lx3125 as the Universal.

Remember the needle bar needs to be in the highest point. Make sure the horn goes into the slot in the shuttle race and is properly seated in the race.

The bobbin needs to be about 5 inches long and your upper tread also needs to about 5 inches long from the needles eye. Hold your upper thread tightly so that when it enters the needle plate hole it can catch the bobbin thread. Pull both of the threads beneath the presuure foot and toward the rear of the machine.

I broke a needle and now it wont pick up bobbin tread

Hello

Make sure the needle is facing in the correct direction, stitches don't form, or skip badly when the needle is turned around.

Put the bobbin in the bobbin case (right way around) leaving a 2-3" tail.

Thread the top of the machine correctly, leaving a 3-4" tail after threading the needle.

make certain your bobbin in locked into position in it's case and the thread is coming from the bobbin in the correct direction. When holding my metal bobbin in my hand, the thread pulls counter clockwise before placing it into my front loading bobbin case.

Also check if the needle is not properly installed in the needle bar,the machine is not threaded properly or the machine needs adjustment or repair..

How can I adjust the thread? I have a problem with the thread, when I start the sewing machine the tread from the top and the bottom would suddenly get tangled. Tks.

try this suggestions
check the needle to see if it's bent-roll it on a flat surface to see if it rolls correctly
check the bobbin to see if it's warped
check the bobbin case to see if there's any lint or loose threads
rethread the machine-upper thread & bobbin too---to make sure the thread is not catching on anything
make sure the upper thread has a thread tail 3-4 inches long
make sure the bobbin has a thread tail 3-4 inches long
make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly in the bobbin case
if you have your operation manual-check the tension settings & see if they are correct
