Sometimes my digital piano just turns itself off for no reason when i am playing or not playing but i usually just turn it back on and carry on what can be wrong with it
If you do not perform any operation for 30 minutes, the Digital Piano will turn off automatically.
To Disble It: While holding down the Strings button, turn on power.
Auto Power Off will be disbled.
Casio CDP has Auto Power Off: 30 minutes after last key operation, Auto Power Off can be disabled.
Please read the manual.
If it turns itself off while playing, I would try to buy a new AC Adapter to test. DC cable of AC adapters are often broken internally after much "bending".

Test the adapter with a meter... Most probable cause is a bad power connector. Often the solder at the input power connector breaks loose is only problem. If you are not electronically adept, best to take it to a shop.

Yep... Roland pedals are reversed, that is, normally closed contacts. Unlike some Yamaha keyboards, the Casio doesn't have an inversion function available. You have two choices to solve this: 1. Buy a pedal with the corect sense 2. Open the Roland pedal and MAYBE with a soldering iron you can move a wire to select a contact with the opposite sense.
