Tv wont turn on worked fine last night when shut off tried to turn on this morning and there is no power to the tv tried different source of power same problem
Same issue here, unfortunately I'm not tech savvy enough to crack this open myself, and NO ONE who works on tvs in my area will even consider looking at it. Apparently this brand has a reputation :P
It worked great for 3 years tho...
Anybody brave enough to put together a small how to? maybe some hints? draw something on a napkin and scan it in?
Anything?
Otherwise I will end up trying it myself anyway ;)

You mentioned trying a different battery, try a different AC adapter.
When plugging in the ac adapter to the wall, see if the POWER LED comes on on the adapter, then when you connect it to the computer, see if the LED stays on.
If the issue occurs with both AC adapters (No battery installed) then the motherboard has failed. If one ac adapter works but the other doesn't then the adapter is bad
remove all the electrical wire connections from the back of the tv .remove the power plug from the electrical outlet and wait for two minutes and replug the wire and then ckeck.it should work.
