I wonder is that I need to renew my services .No Internet connection to Magic no green light 402-913-1009.Tell me what to do?.
I assume you mean no green light meaning when you plug the MJ into a USB port the internal light fails? If so, the MJ unit itself has died. You should still be able to access your MJ via the USB port and the dial pad shows up on the computer screen. Even if you did not re-register, the keypad should show up and you can go to the web site to get another 12 months or so. If you have to get a new device, I suggest the MJ+ that allows you to plug it into a computer or directly into the router.

magicJack requires approximately 80 kbps of bandwidth.. please contact your internet service provider and make sure you have at least that amount..you're not required to tell them that your using majic jack, but it shouldnt be a problem..Dial-up internet IS NOT enough to run Majic Jack, but "lite" DSL will work.

Question: is the magicJack plugged directly into the USB port on the computer or through a USB hub? If it's plugged into a hub, try plugging it directly to the port on the machine.

After 2 days of frustration I was able to solve this by the following:
1. Click Start
2. right click my computer and select properties
3. select hardware then Device Manger
4. click + DVD/CD-ROM Drives
5. right click Tiger Jet CD-ROM USB Drive then Uninstall
6. unplug Magic Jack wait 15 secs
7. Plug back in and let device re-install, MJ may start here, if not...
8. Click Magic Jack Icon, program should start
I have to do this everytime I unplug or restart my computer. I don't know exactly why it hangs like this but this procedure works for me everytime. Good Luck
