Temporary overload My Nokia 6600 is showing temporary overload. I have formated the set two times, and also removing the memory card its again shows the same abovesaid problem. please solve my problem.

  • subbarao Dec 23, 2007

    Hi,

When I open gallery in my Nokia 6600, phone hangs-up. When I use camera, the message "temporary overload" appears. The phone drains out power in a half day.
I thought it was a battery problem. I replaced the old battery (20month old). Still the problem persists.
I'm not getting proper response from servicing centers. One fellow suggested t sell off it for 1500/- (i bought for 9500/-). I'm not ready to shell out this phone after a mere usage of 20month.
pl. suggest me what to do.
    will reloading the s/w help?

First check your phone memory then using 3rd party software like file explorer, check active tasks then close one by one(Not system running Software)

I want to know how to format my nokia 6600 cellphone manualy will you pls help me?

Since you want to format the phone you can follow this steps in doing that:

Method One
Verify that your phone does not have a discharged battery. Charge phone until battery icon shows a full charge.
Save all personal information to the MMC memory card. Turn off the Nokia 6600 and remove memory card.
Simultaneously press the green dial key, the "*" key and the "3" key. Continue to hold those three keys while turning on the phone. Do not release the three keys until the formatting message is displayed on the screen.
Wait for a few moments while the phone reformat. Once completed, the phone will be restored to fresh out-of-the-box store defaults.
Reinstall personal information from the MMC memory card.

Method Two
Verify that phone does not have a discharged battery. Charge phone until battery icon shows a full charge.
Save all personal data to a removable memory card. Turn off phone and remove memory card.
Turn on phone. When phone is fully powered up, key in the following sequence, "#7370#". Answer "Yes" when phone asks if you really want to format phone.
Enter pass code "12345" when the Nokia 6600 asks for the confirmation code.
Wait while phone reformat. The process may take a few minutes.
Replace the memory card and restore personal data.

Gallery is showing busy.

I think the memory is overloaded. A phone usually recognizes when the memory is less but in your case the phone failed to recognize the increasing load and got overloaded. Thus to get it out of load, reformat the phone memory. For this you need to Turn off your phone. Then press and hold the green call button ( the button you press when you receive call or take call ) and while doing it press the " 3 " No. on the keypad and also the " * " key while pressing both Green and 3 Key. Be sure you don't disengage any of the buttons. And in that state of 3 keys ( Call, 3 , * ) pressed, Turn on the phone. This can be difficult, for it you can take help from any other person to press the keys. As soon as the phone is switched on, the memory format process will start and the original data and features will be restored to the phone. The 1st formatting process may be difficult so I will give you an easy way. Only enter and dial *#7370# code and the formatting process will start.
WARNING :---- The first process formats the memory card to factory settings with all your data safe, but the second process involving the code will cause loss of program files on your phone. It will not harm but you will lose your personal, official, etc all types of files which you installed.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

Nokia 6600

It is necessary to format your phone, because system files regarding your phone boot sector seems got corrupted. There is not enough room in your RAM it leads to your phone at this status. Take important data backup, remove MMC and enter the press four keys i.e. 3.*,green send key and power on key together for sometime and hold it for sometime. Your phone screen will indicate "FORMATING". Your phone will get formatted, then switch off and on it again as usual . Remember to scan your MMC with a good anti virus before inserting it back in phone. During formating don't remove battery and do this process only with enough charged battery. You will be able to send your message then. Do vote this solution....
