My ringtones my chocolate phone doesn't want to assign a ring tone too any of my contacts?

For this problem contact the service provider.......

Select the music file you want inside the media gallery, open the Sound Clips folder where your music file is stored then select 'Option', choose 'Use Tones --> Set as ringing tones' or 'Use Tones --> Assign to contact'

select a particular contact,go to options and then select 'assign ring tone' and then assign the desired ringtones.

you will need to frist add the contacts to your phone memory then edit the contacts and assign a ringtone to each contact you wish.

To assign individual ring tones:

1) you must go to the phone book, highlight the wanted contact, click on options and then edit.
2) scroll down until you see the section "ringtone" and click on it.
3) Then choose audio, then ringtones. click on the ringtone you want, you must listen to it first, and then click on "select".
4) if you want a ringtone to be something you've recorded, click on "my voice" rather than "ringtones"

Follow the path: (1) Menu_Contacts search for the contact you want to assign a ringtone. Select "Options", you will get a Menu containing option "Edit". Select it and you can add or edit a ringtone to the specific contact.
(2)You probably wont get option to assign ringtones, if the contact is saved to your sim. So first u got to transfer the contact to you phone memory. This is how. Just go to Menu_Contact and search for the contact and press edit, you will get a option "Copy to phone". Select it and copy it to the phone memory. Once copied you can edit the ringtones by following the steps as in (1)

u need to go contacat list then
contact seting and then u get a option of image used as wel as ringtone used or assin tone then u can set specific tone for each number..

If you set the profile ring tone to OFF. Then select a contacts' number and assign it a Ring Tone. When that contact calls you the Ring Tone you assigned will ring.
If you select the same Ring Tone for all your contacts in a group they will all sound the same when they call.
Or select the same ring tone for a profile, but cancel the Tone you assigned to the contact(s).

Are your contacts off the SIM? You cannot assign a ringtone to a SIM contact that is different than your general ringtone. If it is a SIM contact save it to your phone then you should be able to assign a distinct ringtone.
