I have an E-21 error message on my washing machine. How can I get to the drain and pump?

Please read description carefully about error code



Logik Washing Machine Error 21: "E21"
Error Code Definition: Washer has not drained in allotted / time washer not draining.
How To Clear Error Code:
-Check that filter is not blocked or kinked
-Check drain hose is clear of any blockage or kinked
-Check wires to drain pump
-Check drain pump is not faulty
-Check level sensor and switch
-Check wires to level sensor

Hello, it can only be dirty filtersomething in the pump drain line blocked up or failed pump. I would check the filter again and if its clean put the drain hose in a bucket see if it drains but chances are you will need a new drain pump. hope this helps please rate my answer thanks

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F21 means long drain, this error occurs when the drain time exceeds 8 minutes. To resolve this check the drain hose and make sure it is not kinked with any foreign particles; also clean the drain pump filter for any clogs. Also check if the pump is running fine. error 6 relates to a blocked drain pump. if the drain pump is working ok check if the tank level sensor is operating or if the air chamber in the wash tank is blocked.
error 21 relates to the drain pump being activated. normally related to error 6.
also check water inlet solenoid valve is working correctly. ie not blocked or passing.
all parts of the machine can be activated manually by entering service mode.
when machine is off press service button or switch on main pcb.
p00 appears. press and hold main wash button. --- appears. using the long and short wash buttons you can scroll through parts of the machine. displayed as a01 a02 a03 etc.drain pump is a12 solenoid valve is a13. these are activated by pressing the button. when activating the drain pump the display will count down. this number is the water level in the wash tank. if it's counting down the level sensor is ok.

take the kick panel off and clean the pump filter.

F-21=LONG DRAIN If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes the water valves shut down. After 4 mins the Sd(slow drain) error will be displayed, 4 mins later the F/21 error code will be displayed.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL 2 times to clear display

Probable cause/Proceedure
Drain hose plugged/kinked
unplug washer/disconnect power
check electrical connections to pump
and make sure pump runs
check drain pump filter for strings,sand etc
plug in washer If this dont work
replace pump.

"F21" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:


1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

OE : Drain Hose is Kinked or clogged or The Drain Filter is clogged - Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter.
also do check for the pump blockage.

It most likely means long drain, the drain line could be clogged or kinked. You could also have something jamming the drain pump or a bad drain pump.
