Help hey I was wondering if you could find this for me Sansa e250 2GB Installation CD if you know where it is can you help me install it on my computer (((Or if you happened to know a close store to help me find it. Did you run the installation CD before you plugged the mp3 player into the computer? If not, disconnect the mp3 player from computer, uninstall all the Sansa software on your computer, and reinstall the software from the installation CD.

If the uninstall/reinstall fails, update the firmware on the player from Sandisk's website.

If your CD is damaged, you can obtain a replacement from Sandisk.

To enter Recovery Mode, turn off your device, ensure the HOLD switch on top is slid to the right (towards the headphone jack), connect the cable to the device (not the computer yet), hold down the RECORD switch on the side, and connect the cable to a USB port on the computer.

If this does not solve your problem, you will need to re-install the firmware.

Try using the Sansa Dispatch to upgrade your firmware. If this does not work, we may need to manually update the device. This is kind of technical and (in most* cases) voids the warranty.

The sansa media converter is inside the installation CD. When you put in the Installation CD, you will see a a window where it says "sansa media converter." Then just download
