Question about Krups XP4030 Espresso Machine
Purchased a remanufactured unit and followed the instructions for first time use. It worked well and did all it was supposed to but then I noticed a large puddle of water under it. Picked the machine up and it kept leaking. Took out the tank, dried everything and then filled the tank and put it back and turned it on it started pumping and leaking right away. Will return to the store but wondering if I should try another.
I fixed mine for 25p... you need to take the back off, and the tank holder out (2 screws each). There is a very thin pipe that comes out the pump - that is the leak.
Unclip the little clip and pull out the pipe and fish out the black o-ring out the hole.
Buy a new o-ring and put back together... no leaks =)
