Although the HealthOMeter.com site no longer posts a user manual for the BFM588DQ-81 scale, they do have a different model scale, BFM955-60, instruction manual that will work for the BFM588 because all the setting buttons are identical. You can download the manual for free at their site. Go to the site, under "Service & Support" setect "Instruction Manuals", then select "Body Fat Scales". Once there, find and select the BFM955-60. It will open as .pdf document and you can save it to your computer and print it out. It worked for my BFM588 scale for which I had lost the user manual.
