Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I just purchased a Memorex model 9410M Phonograph with Radio,Cassette, and CD player.I purchesed it online and received it yesterday. Everything works except the phonograph. The turntable will not move at all. When I touch the needle I can hear the scratchy sound thru the speakers so I know that part is working,it's just the turntable that does'nt.Can anyone help me before I have to pay an arm and a leg to return it?
If it arrived by mail then the sender might have screwed the transit screws down to avoid damaging the phono , i am not familiar with memorex but if like most turntables there should be some big screw heads visible on the top of the phono or possibly even under the platter all you have to do is unwind the screws until the platter unit moves freely [you should be able to push it up and down a little bit ]
