The best solution I can recommend is, that you take it in to your nearest radio rapair shop and get them to check it out, and if it doesn't cost too much (over $100.00), then get it repaired.
You have a good unit there, so a check up is always recommended to keep it going.
Not to sure what you mean, but may I suggest: join yahoo group specific to your radio Make/Model, there you will receive lots of in fo plus you can download manuals, schematics and other goodies.
