Double check the file format you have your music saved as. On some lg phones the media player will only read mp3 files. If they are stored as wma files they might not be readable by the phone. Also when you look at the memory card on your computer if the files are not stored under my music or music the phone wont be able to read them. Good Luck!
You have to move each song/file to your external memory straight away after recieving it via bluetooth because it goes straight onto your phone memory. Seach your phone memory and move all photos, videos, music etc to ext.memory by selecting the file-select options in lefthand corner- move to external memory. If your phone cannot find your external memory then you havent formatted your memory card. Go to Settings-Memory Status(way way down the bottom of list)-External Memory-Format(lefthand corner). Just remember to move each file to ext. mem. straight away. Its a pain but you have to do it manually, the phone doesnt do it for you.
I have posted information in 'hints and tips' regarding media files (pictures mp3s etc). The first thing to remember when sending files to your phone is that they have to be done one at a time as the phone memory is limited. The phone has a memory card inside it which is extra/external to the phone memory. What is confusing is that you cannot send files directly to this memory card so each file you send to the phone has to be moved to the 'external memory' before you send another to the phone.
Files have to be sent one at a time to your phone and then each one moved to your phone's external memory, before sending another. Unfortunately, there is no setting to send straight to your phone's external memory directly. Please see my 'hints and tips' postings regarding jpg sizing and other media file information.
Best of luck.

Yes I agree the manual is not too helpful which is why this forum is buzzing! I have posted information in 'tips and tricks' regarding media files (pictures mp3s etc). Regarding email; you need to call your service provider and register with them. Then ask them to send the relevant codes and instructions to set up picture messaging, email/internet. Their instructions should be pretty easy to follow as they gear them exactly for the lg prada phone menu settings.
All the best.

The thing is that your phone software is not set to support 4gb of memory. There is a limit of how much external memory to be supported and it is 2gb i think( 2gb works fine with me). The only way to go around this is to update your phone software, which by now I wasn't able to locate anywhere :(....... If you find some update pls let me know!!!
No, copy your music to the memory card rather than storing it on the phone. you must do this in 'My stuff' folder, select 'sounds' select the mp3 then click the bottom left button (details), then press 'file', then 'move'
To view the moved files goto 'My stuff' folder, select 'sounds' then in the top right corner you will see a picture of a memory card. press this to see swith to view the external memory.
