Predictive text comes onto phone automatically every time I write a message-how can this facility be cancelled?

It sounds like you have followed the correct procedure, but make sure it is 'auto-correct'.

go to new message then press * then input option and then deactivate prediction.

when you open up to write a text message..before you type click on the menu botton,youll see the choice's..click on entry mode then go to the secondary choice

during your message composition, press the left soft key to enter your messaging mode or text entry mode, there you can highlight what you want, word mode or voice command mode, etc.

1) When you type the text using the keypad(screen), press 'Abc' and select 'T9 Abc'. That will solve your first problem.
2) You cannot do that by default. Everytime you need to move the messages using the option 'Move to Phone'.
3) Unfortunately they have not given the direct option. First you need to move the message to phone using the option 'Move to Phone' and again do 'Move to folders' on the same message and choose the folder.

open messages->new message->'options' or 'more'->dictionary->off.

First, hit the 'Message' button in the upper-left -hand corner. Select 'New Message'. Select 'New Short Msg'. An empty screen for inserting text will now be displayed. At this point press the top middle button (the one with the line on it like this -). Now the 'Message Menu' should be displayed. Scroll down to 'Entry Setup' & select it. Press the 'Change' button in the upper-right-hand corner when 'Primary Setup' is highlighted. Scroll down to 'TAP English' and select it. Now you are done. ('I TAP English is the setting for predivtive'. 'TAP English is the setting for manual').

go to your messages... then choose message setting... look for default text input and just choose iTap (i think???) just play around with your message setting...

To activate T9, undertake the following steps:
Messages
New text Message
Press the first button from the right on the last row
Go in the option T9.
Choose 'On'
