Question about LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer

Washer WM-2277HW and Dryer wont turn on after power outage.

We had a power surge/outage a couple of days ago and the washer and Dryer would not turn on at all. The breakers were reset and checked for power but the Washer and Dryer would not show signs of life.

I was thinking that there is an internal fuse that can be changed inside the appliance but can't find it.

Please help me with this urgent issue.

There is a fuse on the control board but it is soldered in place and cant be changed. whole board needs to be changed

First try unplugging the machine for a few minutes and then retry a cycle. If you still get the LE error:

The Hall sensor (part number 6501KW2001A) has failed. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in the US). Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Snap new sensor on and reassemble. Usually takes under a half hour. On a difficulty scale of 1 - 10, it might rate a 4. This should be a Fix-Ya for your machine, and at basically no cost!

Power supply has failed to the panel board and it can due to failure of the board, failure of the surge filter or the power circuit.
check the panel and if there is short within the board then the panel must be replaced

That could very well be the line voltage suppressor (called a noise filter) that is built into the washer. Take the top off and follow the power cord into the machine. It connects to this component.

my washer did this 5 minurtes ago, it means the load is unbalences [u]n[e]ven if you have to little or too much ibn it, take everything pout, let it spin through then do load again with les sor more acording to previous.

the best way is to have some one hold the drum from the front and turn the nut. it can also be done sometimes by turning the drum in the opposite direction and then pop it with the wrench. not the best way but it works.or you can hold the stator assy with one hand and tap your wrench with a hammer.i hope thia was helpful,would like to here how things worked out.

CHECK YOUR WATER INLET VALVES FOR LEAKS BY REMOVING THE TOP OF YOUR FRONT LOAD WASHER. IF LEAKING REPLACETHE PART.
