Cant get the disk compartment to open

If you have a disk inside, get a paper clip and straighten it. Locate a tiny hole on the "door" usually next to eject button. Poke the paper clip in gently and push when you feel resistance. Remove your disk and claim warranty from your supplier

How to eject dvd disk samsung laptop no eject button?

There are two ways toopen the CD drive door if the button just below the drive tray does not work.
Go to My Computer and right click on the drive and click on Eject.
If this does not work then you can manually open the CD drive tray by -
Straighten a paper clip and gently insert it into a tiny hole below the drivetray next to the Eject button. Push the paper clip gently until the drive traypops out, then pull the tray until it is fully out, then you can remove the CDdisc.
If you continue having problem opening with the Eject button, then the CD driveis faulty and needs replacing.

I have a Samsung DVD R160 recorder. A few days ago the recorder was not on and it was making a noise like it was trying to read a disk. This went on for quite a while. I then turned it on and it would...

Try this, look for a small hole on the front of the unit.Use a pin and press in to see if it opens, ejects the disk .If no hole try seeing if you can press ,lift, pull at the door/slot while pressing the open door/eject either on the unit or with the remote control. It sounds like you may have a bad CD/DVD (copy) that the unit is trying to read/load but can't. keep trying to eject CD/DVD if this doesn't work unplug unit for 5 minutes, try open door again do press and hold open repeatedly I know it's frustrating but it just may eject.Don't use this recorder for playback of DVD buy a $30 DVD player the cheaper the better they play anything.GOOD LUCK

Our Samsung DVD-H1080 DVD Player wont open, we've had it for a while, but the place where it opens is stuck, help??

Are you using the remote or touch button on case to eject tray?
Sometimes the top lid gets warped and prevents the tray from opening. Press eject and lift the front part of the lid at the same time.

I dont know how to eject cd I have a dell studio xps i cant remember how to eject CD

there should be multimedia touch buttons above the keyboard... for play skip track pause, etc... one of these should be eject, however there have been some issues with this (possibly to be fixed by a software patch)

Alternatively you should be able to eject the disk by going to "MY computer" right click on the correct drive icon for your CD/DVD drive and select Eject from the popup menu

I can't put dvd disk into Dell Vostro 1310

1. Switch off the laptop
2. Press the power button to switch it on.
3. Instantly after pressing the power button, start pressing " F2 " key on the keyboard to enter the BIOS setting.
4. Now press/touch the " eject button " of the DVD drive and now you are done, you will get the disc out.

I have a Dell Studio 1537 and my touch screen buttons at the top of my keyboard do not work anymore. When I touch them they still light up, but nothing happens. I even have a CD stuck in the disk player...

There is a cable connection for the hinge cover buttons, you can try to reseat the cable. If that doesn't resolve then the hinge cover will need replacement

As for the disk in the drive, Open MY Computer, right click the drive, Click EJECT
