I have the same problem regarding error ao. I recently had problems with my battery...actually the guy I bought the car from put a boat battery in the car. Needles to say the connections on my car were fried. It was after I changed these connections that I had a problem with error ao. I know nothing about cars or car audio equipment. My uncle is a mechanic so, I can try anything.

Turn off your car, turn key to ignition and as soon as your radio boots up, press the eject button. it should eject the CD. Loan a different CD to see if it works.

Pioneer 800 mk1 eject disc when powers on

Well, the optical pickup is not able to read the disk. First off, did you use ESD protection when you installed it? If not, it may already be damaged. For more information, or should you have further questions, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me directly through the website. Thank you.

CD drive is not reading disc. Most likely laser related.

I cannot get ipod to work through aux input. It works on other car if cd is ejected. got no manual for radio, do i need to do anything or does it seem broke

You have not speciifed the model of the set you have but universally you will need to select the aux in the mode of your set. If you are having a cdor tape please eject them and check if the radio buttton is having a dual function. If you are sure that there is a aux input then , you must look carefully for the selector switch which should be around inthe front panel. Hope you try again. Good day

DVD will not eject from movie player.

On some DVD player there is a little pinhole next to the opening or tray in case the disk or tray won't eject. You can unbend a paper clip and insert it into hole and see if it will eject. If not you will need to remove radio and have it serviced.

Your vehicle is not that old, take it to the dealer and see if your radio is still covered under warranty.

Good Luck!

Error ao pioneer head unit

If the discs PHYSICALLY get stuck, then the mech is damaged. A local shop MAY be able to fix it, but it might be a better investment to just replace the radio.

Cd is stuck

Disc Eject Prohibit: This feature keeps the disc from ejecting even if the eject button is pushed. The disc eject prohibit feature is engaged/disengaged by pressing the CD and Eject buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds.
