if your cellphone have a memoy card in it all you have to do is get the memory card and attached it in a card reader as shown in the youtube
if your cellphone does not have a memory card you can buy a cable that is compatible to your CP. when you attached the cable to your PC your CP will show 2-3 options pls choose DATA STORAGE and your PC will recognize a flash disk (your cellphone)

The motorola RAZR V3 does not have a removalbe memory card. From a site doing a review on the RAZR:
"It has no removable memory card. It has just over 5MB of internal memory that is shared between the phone book, ring tunes, pictures and video clips, and downloaded files and programs. This can quickly fill to overflowing. "

Hello as far as I know there is a lot of chance that you have to use a software and also the software made by the phone company ...unless you are using an ipod or iphone which uses itunes to transfer multimedia content
