I have an Averatec Laptop computer and I just got a fresh installation of Windows 7. The problem is that after the installation, the battery does not charge and the OS suggested me to replace the battery....

It is coincidental that your battery is not charging after a fresh installation of Win: 7.. Your operating system has nothing to do with the battery charging. When you plug the power adapter into the laptop, does the charging indicator light up?. If not replace the adapter.
If your laptop battery is more than 3 years old , its reached the end of it's duty cycle . A new one should set things right.

Try to work through the steps in this article. or this article.
If that doesn't help, here's a workaround that seems to help in some cases:
"Yea I have the blank screen too for my averatec 3200, but there's an easy work around
for some reason it default goes to the monitor port instead of the screen
all you do is press function screen( Fn F5) twice and you can see again. Whenever you see the blank screen pop up just change."
\
You might also google 'blank screen at logon' and check for other options, such as here.
If you get windows up, try this:
Run chkdsk c: /f or /r according to these instrucitons & these. (you can also run this from the recovery console or cd).
This could be the result of a driver conflict or issue. Run windows update and check for graphics updates, or follow these instructions to update your graphics/video drivers.
There's also the possibility that the problem is malware related, in which case try to follow these instructions.

Blank screen

Look very closely at the screen when its on, see if you can see a faint image in which case the ccfl tube in the screen will be dead. Also try the laptop on an external monitor.
Otherwise if you know what your doing, remove the battery, hard drive, optical drive, all but one stick of ram, modem/wireless card and try again. There is a small chance it will be the cpu or motherboard.

Need to format my averatec 2100 to factory settings i do not have a recovery cd how?

This works on most Averatec laptops:
Turn your laptop on
press F4 at the Averatec logo.
click on Protec/Recover
click on Phoenix/Recover Pro.
system will restart (15 secs.)
then click on advance.
on the next screen click Factory Restore Point. then follow the prompts, answer yes and then Recover entire drive.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Averatec Laptop computer-

This could be a simple glitch, but most likely the screen is going out and will need replaced. Start by adjusting the screen resolution in the display properties. Adjust it to a lower setting, apply, then adjust it back to where it was, and apply. If this doesn't work, then try uninstalling the video drivers from the device manager and rebooting. The machine will automatically find the video and reinstall the drivers. By doing these two, you have just ruled out a software glitch and narrowed it down to hardware, so, if the problem persists, then it's the screen and will need replacing.
