I've got some additional questions for you:
How are you downloading these photos? Do you put the memory card in your computer or do you connect the camera to the computer using a cable?
What is the software you are using to download? Build in to the operating system (Windows, Apple, etc) or software you got with the camera?
What type of camera do you have?

How do I copy smart label printer files from desktop to laptop

I'm making the assumption that your SmartLabel printer was installed on your desktop computer and now you want to use the SmartLabel printer on your laptop. I'm also assuming your what the addresses from your desktop computer. That said...

Seiko has eliminated the software and driver support for all older models but you can download the needed software from a third party site. Here's a link to the very stable version 4.61
Seiko SLP 100 Free Driver Download

Make SURE your SmartLabel Printer is NOT Connected!

Set Up Steps
A. Install SmartLAbel Printer on your laptop
1) Copy the Seiko software onto your laptop and begin the installation program.
2) At the point were the installation program asks, connect your SmartLabel printer
3) If the SmartLabel program is open, close it
B. Retrieve your SmartLabel addresses from your desktop
1) Look for the SmartLabel directory under Program Files on your desktop computer
2) in this directory find a file named label.sll This file holds your SmartLabel 100 addresses.
3) Copy the file to a USB Stick
C. Transfer your labels to your new installation on your laptop
1) After installing your new SmartLabel printer on your laptop. Insert the USB Stick in your laptop
2) Copy the label.sll file into the new SmartLabel directory under Program Files.
3) Start the SmartLabel software and open a new label, you should see the addresses from your desktop computer
4) If you don't see your addresses, you may have to use the Import command on the label.sll file to bring your addresses into your new SmartLabel Application

Wheb i try to trasfer sd chip fron printer to computor, sya unreconized file romat,, what do i need to correct this problem

make sure its formatted in FAT32 and not a EXT or a NTFS format. Or if your trying to open pictures from the sd card (meaning you can browse through the files and such) make sure to view the ones with a .jpg label or .png.

Side Note:
Some cards have funky names for all the files, browse through the whole card until you find a ton of photos in a file, then you got the right directory.

Acquiring images from a TWAIN Device PhotoImpression accepts images acquired via standard TWAIN devices. 1. Click the Get Photo button on the Main Screen, and select Camera/Scanner. A list of your TWAIN devices will appear. 2. Select your desired device from the Select Source pull-down. 3. Select the album to which you wish to link the acquired image(s). 4. Click the Acquire Options button to set your acquire parameters: a. Specify the file format for the acquired images. b. Specify the save directory for the acquired images. c. Choose whether or not to retain the original file format (for example, some cameras may save in a specific format-you can have the program convert the files to an option of your choice, or retain the original format). d. Set the file names for the incoming files. You can choose to have the program automatically name the files using the current date, or you can specify your own unique file name. 5. Click the Acquire button if you are capturing from a still camera or scanner; click the Video Camera button if you are capturing a still from a video. Follow the procedures specific to your device to import the image into PhotoImpression.
Updates for the Arcsoft application "PhotoImpression" are available from Arcsoft
If there are connection errors, that could be from:
  1. USB connection error
  2. Hardware issue
Try plugging the camera (via USB) to a different port on the computer, then acquire the pictures using the included software, or your own photo editing software that is capable of acquiring images from a TWAIN device.
Hope this helps!
