The tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.Tv have colors lines R,G,B mis alignments, have colors shadow pictures or 3D pictures look alike? The tv convergence board is dead. The tv convergence board must have replace the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.To fixed the tv convergence board to solved the tv convergence picture problems. The shop, will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.
Here's all I find regarding bad convergence from the techrepairCD: RCA ~ITC222 D52W20~Convergence bad~~~ITC222~Replace leaky DL032 on deflection board~~~~~~
RCA~D52W20Y ATC221~Convergence goes out/bowed after on for a few minutes~~~ATC221~Problem may be on the deflection board. Was unable to pinpoint where in this case.~~~~~~
RCA~D52W20BYX1 ITC222~Convergence way off after replacing small signal board~EEPROMS were transferred over to new board~~~IK210 was defective..transfer the new EEPROM back over.~Remember on these sets*when replacing the SSB* if there is a small P on corner of screen*hold volume on remote for 8 seconds after it reaches minimum.~~~~~
RCA~D52W20BYX1 ITC222~Can not align blue convergence* bottom really bowed* possibly either color after replacing SSB.(Or no auto convergence.~(Service menu: turn power off for 30 seconds* press vol dn and ch dn* simultaneously for 8 seconds* set turns on with service menu options)~~ITC222~In service menu* select convergence. If sensor calibration was performed when convergence was too far off* it will not alighn.~Get crosshatch with straight lines* perform sensor calibration* then attempt convergence alignment again. Be sure to store settings* then do sensor calibration again.~You must get a green flash of the screen after sensor cal and a check in the box. RED flash indicated convergence settings are too far off~~~~
RCA~D52W20BYX1 ITC222~no convergence correction~~~ITC222~LP650 (259271) DP670 (259246) & RP632 (259564) 4.7 3W on convergence power supply board~~~~~~
Your Convergence ICs have failed. It is very common on rear projections. The solution is to replace the STK chips, check fuses and the resistors next to the STK chips. Replace as necessary and re-align via the service menu. It is about a $300 repair at a tv service center. You will need the service manual if you decide to do this yourself.
Try This: When you notice the symptons Use this simple test to verify. Go to the users menu on the tv. Look for the converge option probably under setup or video setting. Converge is short for convergence to align the red and blue colors to the green color.
If you cannot move the red either horizontal or vertical, then the STK chip has failed for red section. If you cannot move the blue either horizontal or vertical, then the STK chip has failed for the blue section.
If you can move both in each direction then the problem is something else.
Note if one STK chip fails, you replace both regardless.
If this happened suddenly and the red and green images are bowed in at the center of the top, bottom and both sides, one of the convergence amplifier IC's has failed. The part number is STK392-120. Make sure it is a genuine Sanyo brand replacement; there are a number of cheap imitations out there that do not last. Generally they cost less than $30 each.
Note: there are two of these in each TV. They are notorious for having a high failure rate, so I usually replace both. (FYI: each chip has three amplifiers. Each color gets two amplifiers, so one color uses an amplifier on each chip. That's why we usually see at least two colors go out of whack when this problem happens.)
I assume you have already tried a different video source (DVD, VCR, etc.) to rule out input signal defects. If the problem arose right after the set was moved, either the optical alignment was disturbed or (less likely) there is a stray magnetic field near the set that is causing problems (magnetron from a microwave oven?). There is a procedure (sometimes provided in the owner's manual) for adjusting convergence using the remote control that can fix minor alignment problems. If you want to gamble it is not a hardware failure, try it first along one edge of the picture.
If you cannot shift the red or green dots in the convergence pattern, stop immediately, and make a note of where and in what direction you tried to move the dots. Inability to converge the dots is a strong indication the convergence amplifiers are bad (that is their job - to keep the colors lined up with each other). You will need to undo any adjustment attempts after you replace the convergence chips and any fuses or resistors that got burned when they went out, so don't make too much extra work for yourself or your service tech.
You have a convergence problem. Here are some of the most common symptoms.
Screen looks 3D One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu. Screen is bowed in but stationary.
Here is a quick test....
Using your original remote go-to the tv settings then goto the convergence section.
Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.
You should be able to move them up, down, left, and right.
If you can't move them in all directions your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

You need to replace the convergence chips and convergence resistors.
Check the site www.TvRepairKits.com. They have put together a kit for your exact model. The kit includes a photo instruction guide, original Sanyo STK chips, convergence resistors, etc. Everything you need to fix it yourself.
You have a problem with the blue and green tubes having a fungus growing across the face of the tube, thus blocking the light/picture. This will cause the color to be way off and the focus as well. Need to have the fluid changed in blue and green tubes. The red never seems to be affected...must be the red wave lenght inhibits the growth of algee or something. Anyway....That's what you need, not the convergance chip STK's. Trust me on this. T.V. tech. for over 20 years...see this ALL the time. Good luck.
this is the conversion chip and vertical deflection chip that need to be replaced
service mode will only make the color alignment worse since the conversion chip is failing so it won't align properly
it will need that repair
well the vertical deflection IC is good but you need to get the conversion chip for it , it controls the vertical , horizontal, color, color alignment ,
it would be wise to get it done soon before anymore dammage is done
You will need to put the unit into wahts called service mode because it will have to totally realigned since you change the whole module you changed the chip that had you stored memory setting for convergence called an EEPROM. here in the shop I would unsolder the old EEPROM and put it on the new BOARD. Also on most models you don't have adjustments for the green you have to move red and blue to match green. Imay want you to describe again to me what you can adjust now with the new board in the unit can you move all colors left right and up/down
Each color (red, green & blue) has an amplifier IC (STK-).
When there is a convergence issue, the first step is change both
IC's for reliability. Then check for open fuses devices, usually
pico fuses.Then re-check convergence alignment.......T.
