SOURCE: deleting demo songs

For Windows XPTM users, you are connecting the device in MTP mode to the computer by default. You will need to set the device to MSC mode, so go to the device menu\Settings\Advanced\Protocol = > Press Play/Pause key to select MSC mode which will appear as such on the screen. Reconnect the device to the computer, and you can now see those files and delete them.
DO NOT forget to set the device back to MTP mode when finished, so go to device menu\Setting\Advanced = > Select MTP mode.

SOURCE: Whenever i press play, my MP3 player doesn;t play ANY song!!!!

One thing that worked for me was to format the player once I plugged it into the computer. This fixed all the problems. Of course, if you have music on it, make sure that you have it elsewhere too.

According to page 24 of the manual here http://support.casio.com/pdf/008/ap_45_e.pdf
It says
Demo tunes
While holding down the MUSIC LIBRARY button,
press the PLAY/STOP button
.....and try to play a specific demo tune ........
After playback starts, press the tone button that
corresponds to the tune you want to play.from the list.

The instructions are useless, unit does not work according to their instructions. Have downloaded music, synced the unit, still cannot hear music. Tried everything. Can you help.

All songs must be in MP3 or WMA format in order for the player to load any of the songs to play. If songs are in any other format (MP4, ACC) they must be converted to MP3 in order to work. Instructions are on the Intova website how to convert music to MP3 if needed. If the songs that are loaded onto the player are in MP3 format when you press the play button you should see a yellow indicator light meaning the music is playing. If this light does not come on there may be an issue with the player. If this light does come on but you still cant hear any sound then the headphone wires may be damaged. If there is an issue with the player or headphones manufacturer Intova will be happy to help get you back in the water. Please contact Intova at [email protected] for further assistance. Thank you.

Hello May, Check the players settings for demo mode and set to normal or full play.

My Focus MP3 Players only plays the first 10 seconds of each song and proceeds to the next

That sounds like you accidentally put it into demo mode. Press the same button you would to change it to repeat, until it says something safe like, "repeat all" or just nothing. More than likely, you just have it on demo mode, which just plays the 1st 10 seconds to let you get a feel. an utterly useless feature that wastes space on most media players now a days.

MyMusix PD-6030 mp3 player will only play like 1/4 of the songs i put on it. Why is That???

As for deleting -
If you are using Windows Media Player 11, go to the sync tab and make sure it is displaying only the files on your Mp3 player, and not every file stored on your Computer's hard drive. Click once on a song you want to delete, and then hit the delete button on your computer's keyboard.

If you're not using Windows Media Player 11, then read pp. 17-20 of your user's manual, available at www.mymusix.com

As for why songs won't all play-
Make sure the songs are in the correct format. Make sure the songs are not AAC, WAV, streaming, or some other non-supported format

Mp3 players are more complicated than ever. This player may only accept DRM-encrypted WMA files. I would first check the songs that you have downloaded to make sure they did not have "temporary" licenses with a fixed end date. You can do this by right clicking on an individual song, clicking on properties, and selecting the "license," "digital rights mgmt" or "media usage rights" tab - the wording varies by configuration. It will give you info on the license. If the song says that it has no license, it will not work with this player. One remedy is to use mp3 converter software to convert all of those wma files to Mp3's - I don't know of any free ones, but you can certainly look for free Mp3 Converters. Another remedy on unlicensed songs is to hit the "acquire license" link in the license tab, if one exists.
