Canon C555 MultiPass

Symtoms: Installed Canon Desktop Manager on my Windows XP OS. Driver appeared to install properly/Printer will scan.When I try to print a document all I get are Bands, no text whatsover. Even if I print a test page, the printer only prints bands! Please help....

    My pleasure - I have never used it as a printer - had it two years and put a new Canon Cartridge in it....won't print - Do you believe it's the printer head even though I have never used it? Thanks!!!

    Checked and cleaned printer head - checked connection, changed cartridge, checked and reinstalled driver - still just prints BANDS - HELP!

1st You download Printer Driver. Canon Multipass Inkjet Printer Driver After this install the Printer driver in the system.
Installation of Printer Driver
  • Go to the control panel
  • Click on the System Icon
  • Click on the Hardware Tab
  • Click on the Device Manager then
  • Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
  • Right click on it and uninstall it.
  • After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
  • Driver installation Wizard start.
  • Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
  • Driver will be install.

Hello there.

Please click here to download the requested driver.

If this link fails to work for any reason, click here then choose 'Windows XP' from the 'Choose OS' box. Notice the 'Desktop Manager v3.10b for Windows XP' appears underneath.

You can then click on 'XPC530.exe' and agree to the license, then download the file.

Multipass c555

Your cd probably only holds drivers for win98 and XP, i think your printer is not compatable with Vista, as i am unable to find yoiyr model no. on the canon website for vista drivers.

Canon MultiPassC555 printer

Could be a partial block - print a block of color and look for blank spaces in it, if you get them, then you should unblock the nozzle and the print head. Clean them with hot distilled water, and to be on the safe side clean the contacts as well. Good luck!
