Re: 19 in blue screen only sound works great
Un plug the tv for 3 minutes to reset it, then plug it back in. if this dont fix it, please get back with me and tell me if you had any power outtages or surges. some times lightning strikes can burn out the tuner when it strikes the cable line.

Convergence adjustment procedure to projection televisions are given in detail.
Blue screen means either no signal (if unit has rear connections hook a DVD etc to one and go to that input and see if it works) Or the blue may mean set is in shutdown----5 months old and it should still have a warranty?
Hi, just a soft cloth/swiffer is great for the dust. NEVER spray anything on the screen. If you have kids and it is not dust. Use mild soap/or windex. Spray onto a lint free cloth. Paper towls can scrach the screen over time.Buy are ok if you do not rub hard. just put the windex or soap water on the rag/or towl. Also DO NOT set anything on top of the TV you own. It will cause the screen to bow. I have the same one. Mirror is on the top of tv insted of angled on the back. Cool idea. But not to well thought through. Needs more support to hold something.Looks great, and takes up only 10" but the sound not happy with. Pict is great. Hope this helps. Todd [email protected]
It sounds like the sync pulse is not being recorded properly. I don't see too many PAL decks here in the Us, so I'll have to research this a bit. One thing you can try though, is to play back a previously recorded betacam tape and report the results. We need to determine whether the problem is in the record or playback circuitry.
Does the led on front of the monitor stay blue or does it become amber ?
If it becomes amber, then you are not getting a signal.
No harm in trying this : You can try to see if it is a contact problem.
With the monitor unplugged.
Use a small paper clip to run in and out of the blue vga plug holes a
few times each to make sure they are not plugged or gummed up.
If that doesn't help and you know that your video cord is good, then I
am afraid to say that more than likely there is a problem with yor
If it stays blue then the signal is there but the screen isn't fully
lighting up, leading to a failing power-inverter board or a bad bulb.
blue screen is the noise mute screen. however the audio is not getting muted and hence the buzzing....meaning the tuner on the TV is not getting locked on to the station/frequency
1. check your antenna if you are using one. Autotune
2. Reconnect coax from the cable box to Tv and autotune.
3.Use the Video out from the cable box and connect it to one of the video inputs on the TV. Switch your Tv to that component. Use the cable box to change channels (Best case scenerio)
