SOURCE: Ebay: "Describe your item" problem

You cannot change your description if there are current bidders on your listing. You can only add to your description.

SOURCE: I purchased item # 308017602001

with regard to this, it's either the seller closed his/her account or the seller violated some eBay policy that's why the item was removed. if you already paid this item, i suggest that you need to contact eBay and file for the item not receive dispute so that you can get your moneyback.

here are some links where you can find eBay phone numbers:
http://www.ebayphonenumber.net/
http://inter800.com/cgi-bin/kwd800

or you can chat with a live agent:

SOURCE: I sold an item on

Hi there!
If you received the item you sold in a bad condition, you can report the buyer to the resolution team of eBay although it will took too long for them to take action. Here's the link that you can use to report the transaction: http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_us/_base/result_3_6_2.html
I hope this helps you. Have a great day!

SOURCE: I paid for an auction over a week ago and have

1. If you paid by credit card or bank deposit, send a copy of your bank statement, which will show the payment.
2. If you paid by PayPal, the payment should appear in payment history on your account.
3. If you paid by Western Union, only the seller can mark it as paid and you don't have any power over it.

SOURCE: I PAID FOR AND RECEIVED

I buyer for some reason isn't marking it as paid. They will need to mark it as paid.

Another option is to send an email to ebay with the Paid notice and they should be able to fix it.

Sorry you're having this problem and hope it helps.

According to the Paypal process when you file a claim for an item that is significantly not as described, you must return the item at your cost in order for Paypal to issue a refund for the amount you paid, not the return shipping costs. You have 10 days to provide Paypal with a tracking number. Paypal doesn't allow you to post a reply. You send the item back or in 10 days the claim is closed.
Buyers are being forced to pay to received goods the seller didn't described accurately, and in some cases, honestly.
I think that is wrong.
When you can prove that an item is significantly not as described, then Paypal should refund your entire costs of the item including shipping both ways. Sellers can take advantage of Paypal's forcing buyers to pay for return shipping.
If a buyer doesn't like something or changes their mind, and wants to return it, then the return shipping should be paid by the buyer.

I haven't received the item I bought on eBay

Steps to take if you don't receive an item or it's significantly not as described

If you've paid for an item but not received it, or the item doesn't match the seller's description, you can follow these steps.
Be aware of the timing for opening and closing cases. (If you paid by credit card, be aware of your card company's policies too.)
  • You can open a case in the Resolution Centre 10-45 days after the sale (for payment outside of PayPal)
  • The seller has up to 10 days to respond to your case.
  • If you haven't closed it within 90 days after the end of the transaction, your case closes automatically.

1. Talk to the seller

Most problems can be solved by direct communication between buyers and sellers. Communicate with your trading partner to try to resolve the problem. If you attempt to contact the seller by email but don't receive a response, you can request the seller's contact information and call them. If you can't resolve the problem, use the steps described here.

2. Open a case to work it out in our Resolution Centre

If you can't work things out directly with the seller, you can open a case in eBay's Resolution Centre. The Resolution Centre creates a dialogue between you and the seller and tracks your case for you.

Important: If you paid with PayPal, you'll be taken to the PayPal Resolution Centre to open your case. This is the first step in filing a dispute for protection under PayPal's Buyer Protection. You can open a case in the PayPal Resolution Centre up to 45 days after your PayPal transaction date.

The resolution process for PayPal disputes is different from the process for non-PayPal cases, which is described in the rest of this article. For full details, see the PayPal Buyer Protection Policy.

To open a case (10 to 45 days from when you bought your item):
  1. Go to the Resolution Centre.
  2. Select your problem and click Continue. You may need to sign in to your account.
  3. Enter your item number, or click Find Item to choose from your list of recent purchases.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Under Tell us how you paid for this item, select the payment method you used.
    • If you select PayPal, you'll be redirected to the PayPal Resolution Centre. (You'll still be able to view your PayPal case from the eBay Resolution Centre.)
    • If you select another method, describe the method and clickContinue.
  6. Review your case details and then click Open Case.

Product received was not as described

Get back to the seller (quickly) to let them know ! and ask to return / exchange it (what you've received) for something that was described. As well, get the seller to pay for the return shipment ... since it is the seller's fault that you got something that was not as described.
If you're on eBay, use the links (shown against your Purchased item) to send the seller your message. If the seller refuses to deal with the problem, eBay has a buyer protection plan that will reimburse you for the item, after you send it back to the seller (using a prepaid shipping label that eBay will provide to you ... provided the seller is in (North) America and it is not a very large/heavy item.

Have not received order. receipt # 2095 9039 2543 6898

First you should try and contact who you purchased your order with and see if you can get a resolution. Failing that then you need to file a dispute in paypal that your order has not been received.

To file a dispute, log in to your paypal account and under the Account tab you will see a link to "Resolution Centre". Click on that and you will see a tab underneath which says "Report a problem" if you click this tab a button will appear to allow you to report a problem.

You will then be given 2 options, you want to choose Item dispute: I did not receive an item I purchased or the item I received is significantly not as described. After clicking on continue, you will then be able to enter the transaction ID, or find it manually. Once entered click continue and enter the reason for the dispute and you are done.
This will then be sent to the seller so a resolution can happen, if no resolution is found then it will be escalated to a Paypal claim. This is where Paypal take over and investigates with the goal of you getting your goods or your money back.

Hello.

It seems there is either a battery fault, i.e need a new battery or there is a battery connection problem. either way It's best to return it and ask for either a replacement or your money back. If you paid via paypal you have 60 days to file a claim for an item not as described if the seller is unhelpful.
