Well I can tell you the power transformer is fried and expensive to replace, given the age and other issues you have with it, I would throw it away.

Hi,try swapping the Memory chip ie putting it on the other slot,also test with another processor if after all these system does display,i'll suggest you go get a new board.

This is a hardware driver problem.
The final version of Windows 7 has not been released yet, you most likely have the RC copy of Windows 7 (ie Release Candidate - final beta version just before official release) the RC is available to anyone to download and test.
The problem is that not all device drivers are avaiable and if you cannot get a Windows 7 version audio driver from the manufacturer's WEB site at this stage, you have to wait until it is available.

Uninstall the current display drivers from the Control Panel > Remove Programs.

Then, go to Windows Update to download their version of the driver. It will work.

Do you mean audio hissing sound or is there smoke coming out the back?

Audio hiss with the FM tuner selected would mean it's between stations or you don't have an antenna. Try tuning around the band with an antenna.
