Xerox XC540 copier fails to feed bland sheet

Copier warms up, locates top lid unit to home position and internals operate, waiting for the sheet feeder to present a new sheet...then faults out with 'paper jam' light flashing.

Depressing the plunger located near the small pcb to right of sheet feed mechinism pulls sheet in only to stop when releasing the plunger.

Sounds like there is something not pushing down the plunger, or may need to adjust switch to make it higher.

Solution : Power the Machine OFF and ON CAUTION: Wait at least 30 seconds between powering the machine OFF and powering the machine ON. Damage to the optional hard disk could occur.

Press the power switch to the OFF (O) position.

NOTE:

IF THAT FAILS TRY THIS NEXT:
Solution : Clear the Paper Jam Behind Cover A

Open Paper Tray 5 (Bypass Tray).
Lift up the Cover A release lever, and open Cover A.
Remove any paper below the Fuser Unit by carefully pulling up and out.

WARNING: Do not touch the Fuser Unit, as it may be hot.

If the jammed paper is inside the Fuser Unit, lower the green A2 lever in the direction of the arrow to open the Fuser Unit Cover.
Push down and rotate the green A1 lever in the direction of the arrow to feed the paper from the top of the Fuser Unit.

NOTE:

Close Cover A until the cover latches.
Close Paper Tray 5.

How to replace toner cartidge of the Xerox Copier 5225 machine?

The toner cartridge is located in the upper centre of the front of the copier. Open the front door, slide out the cartridge until you see the top handle, whilst pulling out hold the top handle to avoid the cartridge tilting and leaking any excess toner inside the machine.
Before inserting your new cartridge, gently shake it from side to side to ensure even distribution of the toner. Slide the new cartridge in until you here a click, then close the front door. Your copier may go into a calibration routine for a minute or so if the developer has been starved of toner. If it hasn't, it will be ready to copy straight away.

9-363 is Rotary home position (rotory controler board fuse) first remove the right side cover to see devloper units top side sensor clean or replace and chek all fuses on back side pwr board.

We have a Sharp AL 165 1CS Copier and an error is showing. Cannot locate our manual. Error is: [L1-00]

L1; Mirror base feed trouble.
cause:-

Mirror unit defect
Mirror home position sensor defect

Check the scanning operation with
SIM 1-1.

Xerox C20 displaying "Scanner Locked" message. Won't copy.

Press the power switch to the OFF (O) position. The power switch is located on the lower, left side of the machine.
Pull the scan lock switch toward the front of the machine to unlock the Scanner.

NOTE: The scan lock switch is located on the bottom of the Scanner Module. Make sure the scan lock is completely free. It sometimes hangs at the halfway point.
Press the power switch to the ON (|) position. A 'Warming Up, Please Wait' message will be displayed on the Display Screen. Warm up time is less than 40 seconds from power ON and less than 25 seconds from the Power Saver mode.

I'm getting an error code of W8102. Can anybody out there tell me what that means??

W8101/8102 - Print media position warning

Print media position warning
The paper over the platen lies too near or too far from the carriage home position
when fed into the printer.

Cause>
The paper on the platen was too close to or too far from the carriage home position
side when paper was fed.
<Probable faulty component>
The way in which paper is set, print paper, cassette/cut-sheet feed unit, carriage
unit, encoder sensor unit, linear scale, carriage controller, head controller, system
controller.
<Action>
1. Paper setting check:
Reset the paper if the setting is not correct.
2. Paper check:
Replace the paper when any stains or pre-prints are found.
Straighten or replace the roll media when the roll of paper is ruffled.
3. Cassette unit/cut-sheet feed unit:
Replace the faulty paper feed component when the paper feeding is performed
correctly in all parts except where the error occurred.
4. Check the linear scale:
Visually check the linear scale for abnormal conditions, such as stains or damage.
5. Replace the carriage unit.
6. Replace the head controller.
7. Replace the system controller.

Xerox 432st leaves a margin of an inch on 2 side of the paper thus moving the contents of the sheets to be copied out of the printed paper. The copied sheets have some of the contents missing when copied.

you must be change your copier internal setup.
press Default code key symbol button #22222 then press enter copy setup change margin or disable

E2 error code on Xerox work centre xd series 120f copier

e2 is a paper jam problem. check that the paper guides in the cassette are positioned aginst the paper properly. Also remove the toner and drum cartridge. Clean all rubber rollers that you can get to with a damp cloth ( water). You are especially trying to clean the upper and lower registration rollers that "pinch" the paper. I hope that this helps.
