Ok I have done the above and evrything on that part sames to be ok, but the paper is jamming all the time on the right side, that back cover you remove to remove a paper jam doesn't same to be right, it's very hard to get it out or in for some reason. To me this same were the problem with that paper jams.

I have the same problem with my DCP-115C.
The message is "unable to print - see trouble shooting in the manual"
The message was comming when I changed black cartrige on new one and tests print and cleans many times (accordig to print test results).

I tried to move my printer to the maintanance mode by press start mono and 4-times arrow up, but the machine is blocked.
It means when I press start mono button (blue) the printer gives 3 pips (noise signal) and nothing do even I pressed arrow up 4-times.

Please help me to solve the problem.

Press menu then start mono (blue button) then fourtimes arrow up. Machine will be in maintanance mode. What error no. does the display show off?

    John,

the error 50 means that the encoder strip is out of position and has to be fixed (quite simple to do). This happens sometimes when having a paperjam. Did you had one the days before?

Error 10 is not compute! Is it something else? Some no. with letter?

    see here

    http://www.fixya.com/support/t234417-get...

how to open the printer (you have to put the foil which runs paralell to the printhead belt in position by fixing it into the right place at the printhead. therfore you have to turn one of the 3 white gearwheels on the left once around and push the head towards them. here you can simply lift the printhead and reinsert it by watching the encoder srtip being in the right place (to test push the head left/right and watch the strip: it should be plain to the pathway. no wave at all. plz be very careful when doing so not to stain the strip nor your fingers (:-) )with ink.)

    John,

can take a macro picture of the side where you always receive a paper jam and post it here? Plz make sure that the printer cover is open and the angle shows half a part of the printer engine, too?

My printer keeps saying unable to clean and trouble shooting I've tried a lots of things but nothing is work what do I do

May be an obvious thing to check, but are any of the cartridges near empty? If they are, the printer will give the message above as it does need some ink to waste in order to flush the print-heads.

I took the same cartridge had it refilled put it back in the printer keeps saying troubleshooting print cartridge what do do

when u put in a refilled cartage the reset will not engage ,so it will always read out of ink, check printer, etc.reset you printer manually everytime u print is the only thing u can do or buy brand new ink.and install new ink then remove this will let u print once,u will have to do this every time try xing out of prompt several times on youre computer if u r printing through it and that will work, but if u r printing on straight printer u half to reset it every time. hope this helps.

I keep getting an error message- unable to clean....I just bought and installed new ink cartridges, and the machine is still having trouble - I cannot print at all now. There seems to be no way to clear...

The waistinktank has to be replaced. DO NOT only reset the code but change the waistinktank! Otherwise ink will flow into the machine and will cause serious damages!!!!!!!! See link how to do that: http://www.fixya.com/support/t202485-cleaning
