It is like that on the bottom, of my own door of my oven.
Since new! On the older oven I had, you lifted the door and it's hinges up and out and the door came off to make the old way of cleaning the oven easier - when you put it back on, the door would pull up tight on all sides - new ones' seem to have a gap
Hello,
I have spilt milk flowing down the side fo oven/counter top and needed to pull out the stove to quickly get it wiped up..I pulled the stove out by the oven door handle. The hinge sprang on the right side and the oven door is now off on one side how to get it back on?? My husband lifted the door up and the whole door is now off.
It is very difficult to replace, what are we doing wrong???!!! Please help. I belive it is a whirlpool electronic model. thankyou.
It may take two people but if you pull the hinge open there should be a small hole in it. It should of had some pins in the bag if you got it new. If you don't have them find some short pins, screws or nails that will hold the hige open so you can reinstall it. Once you get the door back on you should be able to open it all the way and take the pins out.
We had the F4 problem and called Sears repa. They sent someone out. The guy opened the panel above the bottom oven (we have a double oven) and hit a reset button - then charged us $75. This has worked on several occasions (my husband did it after that). But then that didn't work and Sear's told us it was the electronic panel which they replaced twice. Now it's (F4) happened again on the top oven only on a brand new electronic panel. So I guess it's the heat sensor this time.
I tried several times to get my oven to work and nothing seemed to help. After downloading the manual from this site, my husband locked and unlocked the oven door several times very hard and it knocked something in place and now my oven works. I hope it works for you.
