I would appear that your router has not taken the settings from your provider. There are a number of things that you can try; I recommend them in this order. 1. Turn off your modem, router and computer. Give then all a minute to get cold. 2. Turn on the modem, wait 30 seconds, turn on the router, wait 30 seconds, then boot your computer. Most of the time everything will be fine at this point. 3. If not, check the router setup. You access your router by opening your browser on a hardwired computer and entering 192.168.1.1. At the signon, leave the user blank and enter "admin" for the password. Check out the setup. If you don't know how to do this, repost or contact me -- there's just too many possibilities to list in this response. 4. If all of that looks fine, you may need to upgrade you router firmware. Not for the faint of heart, but you can download the latest from linksys and install it. Try these things; if you don't have success, document carefully what happens at each step and I'll get you through it.
