These printer drivers are installed during the normal install process of WinFax, there are no "printer drivers" to download anywhere because they are part of the installation of WinFax.

Couple of reasons you're getting this error;

- You're using an incompatible operating system, such as any 64 bit OS, like Windows XP 64bit, or Windows 2003 64 bit, Windows Vista (32 or 64 bit) or Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit)

- Windows Server (2003) by default will block the installation of kernel mode printer drivers, thus these drivers will be ignored by the OS when you try to install WinFax. You have to allow the installation of kernel mode printers in your group policy.

- If you're using a compatible OS, like Windows XP, then the problem may be specific with your printer spooler.

Canon ip4500 problematic with win 64bit - seeking solution

Go to a 64-bit machine on the network and copy the 64-bit driver files to the machine
From the 64-bit machine, open Windows Explorer and browse to the 32-bit server
Open the Printers dialog seen via Windows Explorer.
From the Menu bar, select File > Server Properties, select the Drivers tab and click the Add button.

My 1120 laser shot canon printer cann't install on my laptop win7 64 bit. iwant solution please. thanks for any help

You are out of luck on this one. There is no Win 7 driver for this model. There may be a generic 32bit driver but certainly nothing 64 bit.

If you are really stuck , you could always dual boot with XP and Win 7 on the same machine. Its messy but create your doc in win 7, reboot into Xp and import the doc into Xp and print it. Personally i would but a newer printer.

Srri cant be of more help.

Fax driver missing

Microsoft Office 2010 has a feature that lets you send Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files as Internet faxes. This feature relies on having the Windows Fax Printer Driver or Fax Services installed on the computer to send the faxes. The Windows Fax feature is not enabled by default for all editions of Windows. If your edition of Windows includes the driver or service, you must install it before you can send Internet faxes.
Which operating system are you using? Windows 7
  1. In Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Programs and Features.

Note In Classic view, double-click Programs and Features.

  1. Click Turn Windows features on or off.
  2. In the Windows Features dialog box, under Print and Document Services, select the Windows Fax and Scan check box.
  3. Click OK.

Windows Server 2008 To create a fax server, you must install the Fax Server role. This installs the Fax Server role page, Fax Service Manager, Windows Fax and Scan (with faxing capabilities only), the Fax service, and the Fax printer.
  1. In Control Panel, under Programs, click Turn Windows features on or off.
  2. Right-click Roles, and then click Add Roles.
  3. In the Add Roles Wizard, under Select Server Roles, click Fax Server role.

Note If Print Services are not installed, you are prompted to install it.

  1. Click the users or groups that you want to send faxes.
  2. Click who you want to have access to the fax server inbox.
  3. Click Install.

Will not print defults to fax even though default is set for printer

Delete both the icons(Fax and Printer icon) and also, if there is any copy if installed.

Insert the Printer driver CD or Run the setup file.
Select Add a Device from the Options that come on the welcome screen.

Select it, follow the onscreen options to complete the installation.

Once it is complete, restart the printer. And then try to print. If the issue still persists, restart the computer and then try to print.

Windows xp with not recongise HP Laserjet 6p when plugged into a usb port

To my knowledge, the 6P isn't a USB printer, it's parallel port only. Are you using a USB / parallel port adapter? If so, I believe that's the root of your problems - the adapter.

Try hooking it directly to the parallel port (shut the PC and printer down before doing so).

Upon restart, Windows will detect it, and may or may not "know" the model, so you may have to choose it from the dropdown boxes.

If it works when directly connected, you will need to either locate drivers for the adapter (if any), or manually configure it under the printer port properties.

If you need more help, let me know. These are great little printers - once you get them to work!
