Top half of screen is fuzzy, then blanks out - Panasonic TH-42PX75U 42 in. Plasma Television

Depending on which email service you are using, I.E. Hotmail, you may only be getting a screen shot of the email. In other words it will only show exactly what your seeing on your screen if you simply right click and print. Hotmail has a little ACTIONS with a downward pointing arrow on the right side of your screen. Click that and select print and it will print the actual message instead of a screen shot of the message. I have to assume other email servers use similar techniques to print the actual emails instead of just screen shots. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a faulty screen, has the laptop been dropped or physically damaged? can you only see half of the screen? if the other half is black and one half "fuzzy" it's most likely that the liquid crystal display has been cracked/broken. The only way to resolve this problem is usually by replacing the screen which in some cases can be as expensive as a new computer :(

I think it is Time for a NEW TV. Not worth the money to repair. If it is under warranty, have the work done but other than that, you are wasting your money

top half missing is in vertical circuit of set---if it is a 27 inch and this old consider retiring it and replacing----other option is consider having a shop repair it--a rough guess would be as high as 150 dollars parts and labor is possible for your problems.

You have some cold solder joints on the PC board. Flux and re-flow all of the electrolytic capacitors connections..
