PSP Unbricking problems....

did you dump or restore nand dump saves current nand restore deletes current nand and replaces it with one saved on memory stick.if it is bricked it doesn't necesarily need a nand repair nand is when you have issues loading firmware or issues with umd drive menu bar. so if you can load a firm ware load it don't touch the nand till it does not allow a firmware update and if you have some glitches after firmware update try idstorage rewrite in the nand tools.

Psp

First Tell me about your PSP firmware Version. If its a orginal SONY firmware you can't play the games from the memory stick. If you are in custom firmware follow this procedure.

1.press the SELECT button so you will get the M33 VSH MENU

CPU Clock XMB - Default
CPU Clock GAME - Default
USB Device - Memory Stick
UMD ISO MODE - Sony NP9660
ISO VIDEO MOUNT - NONE

Make sure that its showing as per the above values. if not change it to the above values.

If still the problem continues check these too..

Go to the recovery menu.>>> configuration >>> Game folder homebrew (currently: 3.XX or 4.XX kernel)

if its showing 1.50 change it to 3.xx or 4.xx

also

Go to Recovery >> Advanced >> Advanced Configuration
and make sure that both the options are Disabled.....

Memory dump

Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for running Windows XP if this is an upgrade - I had a computer that technically met the requirements, but boy did it run slow after I upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP. If your hard drive contains no programs, information that you can live without, then you can completely reformat the hard drive and start over from scratch. If it does contain important programs, burn them to CD or DVD - and make sure that your computer can read the files after you are done burning - and then reformat your hard drive.
