Kitchenaid Dual stove: model : CGEF308TNF1 Kitchenaid stove code f68- beeps periodically. I flip the breaker on and off and all is good for a week or two and then it occurs again. How do I get this fixed? Phone an electrician? Would it still be under warranty since I purchased it in November?
SOURCE: Self clean wont turn on...
Hi guess what! I am another KitchenAid owner with exactly the same problem. This is the second time it has happened and I am not going to sit back and let Whirlpool off the hook.
I plan on standing outside my local appliance store with a
placard and enough literature to hand out to anyone walking past.
This must stop!

sounds like you have quite the problem. i have had a similar experience with this model and also the 906 or 908 models. can you tell me what error messages if any you get?
the reason the door locked is for safety reasons, due to the fact that the oven gets up to 1100 degrees.
i would recommend to stay way from this model, as the quality of the components has gone down, specifically to do with the circuit boards.

SOURCE: Kitchenaid electric stove - knob doesn't want to
Sounds if the wires that connect to the knob is touching some metal, turn off the breaker, and remove the panel, you will find that something is touching, and it will have a burnt spot where it is touching. It may be two wires or the connector, touching, this is what is tripping the breaker, or the control knob itself may be bad and need replacing.
I appreciate your inquiry, friend!
I understand that your Frigidaire range is displaying an "F68" and beeping. I would recommend performing a reset and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes, which should clear out any miscommunications within your range. If your range continues to display "F68" that could be a high voltage condition. This means that you may have an issue with the voltage coming into your range or your control panel. This is not a simple fix. I would highly suggest consulting with a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
Thank you for your inquiry, Robert Klaum!
I see that your Frigidaire range is displaying an "F68" error code. I am unsure if another member has the same problem due to solar panels. Typically, an "F68" error code means that you have a high voltage condition. This could be an issue with the polarity, supply voltage, or EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for a proper diagnosis to be completed. Best of luck! -Matt
