LG WD 8013F drains then won't spin

When I put the machine to rinse then spin or even for quick 30, it goes through its whole cycle, drains the water out and then stop everything skipping the spinning altogether. I have cleared the filter bottom left and still can't find anything. When it stops then prewash and timesave lights flash together. The manual says that this is a drain filter/hose clog. I've cleaned the drain filter and have checked the hoses that lead to it as best I can and find nothing.

Hi, I have an LG 1412RD washer dryer. I received the DE error message so opened the front to access the door lock and plugged in the electric socket which seemed loose. Now I am getting the OE message...

Owners manual above. LG washing machine error code – OEThe LG error code OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Presumably the water isn’t being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn’t pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.

LG WD-8013F wont spin

Hi deppgirl,
I checked the lint filter at the front bottom left hand side and it was full of junk.  Once emptied it worked a treat.  Pull the flap down and turn the large knob anti-clockwise and pull to remove.  Good luck.
