What does m1 mean

There is no question. You have a value that is too small to be represented the usual way, so the calculator displays it in scientific notation.
If the calculator displays M1, it means that the memory location M1 contains a non-zero value. To clear that memory, store the value 0 in it.

Y=x(x+2)(x-3) , find the x and y intercepts

Use the definitions of the intercepts.

The y-intercept (or initial value) is the value of the function (y-value) when x=0.
To find the y-intercept, substitute 0 for x: y= (0)(0+2)(0-3)=0
For a true function there is ONLY one y-intercept, which is the y-coordinate of the point where the curve cuts the y-axis.

The x-intercepts are also called zeros or roots. They are the values of the abscissa x when y=0. To find the x-intercepts, set y=0 in the equation of the curve ans solve for x.
0=x(x+2)(x-3)
This is a cubic equation and its roots are x=0, x=-2, and x=3. Remember that a product of factors is equal to 0 if any of the factors is =0.

Hi Mizanur,

First of all, thank you for posting your question here at Fixya.

Your TV has a built in self diagnostic software that can help us diagnose accurately where the fault came from once the unit gone to malfunction. To activate it, press the following buttons on the remote control within a second on each other in standby mode( red LED is on), "Display", "5", "Volume (+)", "Power". Initial screen will be displays as follows :

12_14_2011_11_31_03_pm.jpg

To display the self diagnostic list, press12_14_2011_11_34_30_pm.jpg on the remote control.

The screen will display the list of error log as follows :

12_14_2011_11_36_32_pm.jpg
Numerical value "0" means that there's no error detected, "1" means that an error was detected.

Please let me know what error code(s) with numerical value "1" to continue our diagnosis.

Kind Regards,

How do i perform linear regressions on TI-Nspire Individual Handheld

Start by creating the data lists.

CREATE THE X-LIST
  1. Press Home.
  2. Use navigation pad to Highlight [3: Lists and Spreadsheets]
  3. Press Enter
  4. A list opens with cursor in Cell A1.
  5. Use UpArrow to move the cursor to the header of the list and give it a name, say X.
  6. Press Enter. Cursor moves to Cell A1
  7. Enter an X-value in each cell and press ENTER to move to next cell:
  8. Type 1, and press ENTER. Say Yes to overwrite message by pressing OK.
  9. Enter 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 (just a bogus sample).
CREATE THE Y-LIST
  1. After typing 10 in cell A10, press ENTER to validate.
  2. Use the Navigation pad to move cursor to the head of the B column.
  3. Give it a name , say Y.
  4. Press ENTER, Cursor moves to cell B1.
  5. As for X-list, enter the Y values. Here is a sample (-2, -1, 0, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7). After you type value in B1, accept the overwrite message by pressing OK. Type the other values.
  6. Make sure that the X-List and Y-List have the same number of elements, otherwise you will have a dimension mismatch error.
DOING A REGRESSION
  1. While the lidt is still displyed, prress the Menu key
  2. Highlight [4:Statistics]
  3. Use Right Arrow to unfold submenu list and select [1:Stat Calculations]
  4. Use right Arrow to unfold the submenu list and
  5. Select [3:Linear regression (mx+b)] or [4:linear regression (ax+b)]
That is what you see.
a8d4376.jpg
Using Tab to move from one line to the next, configure the calculator as seen on the next screen.
25998ef.jpg
And the last line is at the bottom of the next screen capture
db280de.jpg

The statistical results will hence be displayed in the C[] column.
Use TAb to move focus to OK, and press ENTER.
Here they are.
bd6f8f9.jpg

You can recognize each statistical results, RegEq is y=mx+b. You also have m, b, r^2, and r. The residuals appear on the next row. By highlighting the cell with the {0.,0...0} you can display the hidden values
8381923.jpg

Here you have all you asked for. But you can go further by drawing the curve.

The regression equation is stored in function f1, so you have to draw the f1 function. .

DRAWING THE REGRESSION CURVE

Press the HOME button
Highlight and select [2:Graphs and Geometry]
At the bottom of the screen there is a command line with f2(x)=
Use the UpArrow to display the f1(x)= equation
ba8a1a4.jpg

Press ENTER to draw the function f1
fc19833.jpg

I think I have to stop here. There is enough material to get you started.
I left for you the part where you draw the data points. read the user manual.

C++ programs

An array is a series of elements of the same type placed in contiguous memory locations that can be individually referenced by adding an index to a unique identifier
Initializing arrays. When declaring a regular array of local scope (within a function, for example), if we do not specify otherwise, its elements will not be initialized to any value by default, so their content will be undetermined until we store some value in them. The elements of global and static arrays, on the other hand, are automatically initialized with their default values, which for all fundamental types this means they are filled with zeros

I accidently set my boot menu to zero value on both choices now I cant boot back up

You don't say which setting you have 'assigned a zero value to', but the default settings are as follows:

Default operating system - Fortunately you couldn't have deleted anything here. Just make sure it is set to the OS of your choice (Chances are there will only be the one).

Time to display list... and time to display recovery... - Both should be 30 seconds (for XP and Vista). By default, both are ticked in XP, only time to display list is ticked in Vista.

If you hit the edit button (XP only) your boot file should look something like this (upper/lower case is not important, neither is the exact order):

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

Under the system failure section, tick everything.

Default for XP is small memory dump (64 KB), for Vista kernal memory dump.

Dump directory -

XP default is: %SystemRoot%\Minidump
Vista default is: %SystemRoot%\MWMORY.DMP

Do you REALLY promise you'll never do it again??? :-)
