Question about Endless Summer gwt501a Open Flame Patio Heater
I have two patio heaters. My table top (Model Number GWT501A - Serial #0506000433) lits up, but once you let go of the dial to set the temperature if turns off.
My other patio heater won't start (Model #153100 - Serial #0608001324).
New propane tanks. Used an air compressor to blow out all dust and bugs.
You need to remove the covers from the unit and blow out the gas lines with compressed air. If you can remove the gas lines blow out the lines and what they connect to like the pilot light and main feed line to the burner. Usually they gunk up with use and just need to be blown out with compressed air to clear the lines again. Maybe you have some dirt or foreign object from your gas tank which has clogged the line. Also check the igniter electric lines as well and make sure everything is connected properly. Especially make sure you tighten the gas lines you remove. Hope this helps.

Had the same problem with my table top heater, and I followed solemna13au's advice. I removed the propane source, opened up the gas valve and ran compressed air in from the propane input connection. I blasted it a 1/2 dozen times with the air, reconnected my propane, and everything works properly now.
